“Best in World”, Decorative Miniature, World Fish Carving Championship, St. Charles, Missouri – May 9th 2009. This piece features a trio of Long-nosed Butterfly Fish playfully feeding on branch coral. It is approximately 22″x 5″x 5″ and was inspired by a trip to the Hawaiian Islands.

“Best in World” and “Judges’ Choice”- Best in Show, World Fish Carving Championship, St. Charles, Missouri- May 9th, 2009

This piece features the King Angel Fish, a pair of Scythe-Marked Butterfly Fish and a Trunk Fish. It is approximately 45″ x 20″ x 20″. It was inspired by Josh’s Honeymoon trip to Mexico.

“2nd Place Best in World” World Fish Carving Championship, St. Charles, Missouri – May 9th, 2009, and Judges’ Choice at The Congress Show, Davenport, Iowa (2009). This piece features the Queen Angel Fish supported by a statue of a hand covered in coral. It is approximately 15″ x 6″ x 6″ and was inspired by a trip to the Florida Keys. The piece also won Best in Show at the California Open in February 27, 2009

Josh Guge’s Northern Waterthrush Pair sculpture won Best in Show in the Lifesize Wildfowl Open Division at the California Open in San Diego February ‘09, Best In Show at the World Show Advanced Division Ocean City Maryland in April 2008, and Best In Show at the Starved Rock Show Advanced Division Starved Rock Illinois in September 2008.
